Responsibilities

As a Human Resources Director at Quest, you will be responsible for all facets of Human Resources including administration of employee relations, environmental health and safety, new employee orientation and company-sponsored training endeavors. Some of the duties will include:

  • Develop, recommend, and administer personnel policies and procedures.
  • Conduct employee relations counseling with management for employees as needed.
  • Support Management Team with effective coaching and counseling techniques and recommend appropriate course of action.
  • Meet with each Vice President and/or their management team to build relationships and determine ongoing HR needs for the area.
  • Manage annual review of job descriptions in the Tampa region, oversee onboarding processes, supervise maintenance of Employee Referral bonus program, coordinates Employee Assistance Program and acts as liaison with local domestic violence prevention programs.
  • Work with Training Manager to design, implement and maintain mentor training for onboarding programs throughout Quest. Work with VP of HR, Training Manager and Sr. HR Director to implement and maintain succession planning initiatives throughout the Tampa region.
  • Provide final approval of all paperwork and other background screens for new hires.
  • Oversee tracking of personnel requisitions and production of the weekly open positions report.
  • Supervise processing of monthly Local Law report and 5-year employee re-screen of fingerprints and other required 5-year renewal forms as well as monthly termination list for distribution
  • Manage exit interview process and provide turnover analysis of specific programs to increase retention throughout Quest.
  • Process unemployment claims and represent Quest at unemployment hearings as required.
  • General HR Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Eligible to legally work in the United States
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Successfully complete a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Valid FL Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of HR competencies and ethics preferred
  • Experience with ADP software (e.g., Workforce Now)
  • PHR, SHRM-CP a plus
