    At Quest Kids Academy, the Lead Teacher position is responsible for designing and implementing teaching programs for children in Quest Kids Academy. 

    • Develop teaching materials that are up-to-date with current technologies in the field.
    • Conduct individual and/or group teaching sessions.
    • Collect data for both acquisition and reduction programs.
    • Design acquisition programs that are linked to IEPs and/or behavioral assessments.
    • Design reduction programs that are function-based, and linked to behavioral assessments.
    • Reduction programs will include functionally-equivalent replacement skills.
    • Monitor acquisition and deceleration programs, and the attendant data.
    • Make changes in acquisition and deceleration programs that are timely and linked to an assessment.
    • Manage children who are assigned and ensure their safety.
    • Implement emergency procedures for problem behavior as needed.
    • Communicate with parents about their child's progress and other issues.
    • Supervise, train, and monitor assistants and interns.
    • Assist with initial assessments of prospective students.
    • Attend all weekly staff meetings.
    • Attend IEP meetings and provide input as necessary.
    • Complete all reports that are required.
    • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of classrooms.
    • Ensure compliance with any and all regulations pertaining to behavioral programming and to Quest's personnel policies.
    • Perform all other duties as required.


    • Eligible to legally work in the United States
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Successfully complete a background check and drug screen
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English
    • Ability to thrive in a team environment
    • Valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record
    • B.A. in Psychology or related field
    • Experience in developing and implementing behavioral programs with developmentally disabled individuals preferred
    • BCaBA or BCBA certification preferred
