    Responsibilities

    At Quest, the Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) Director at Williams Road Cluster is responsible for, with minimum supervision, overseeing the day to day operation of the cluster. The Director is also responsible for maintaining compliance in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

    Establishes and oversees administrative procedures and necessary corrective actions to meet objectives/requirements set by the board of directors and senior management.

    • Ensures all departments are in compliance with regulatory agencies.
    • Maintains ICF/ID certification of the facility by the Agency for Health Care Administration.
    • Participates in annual Medicaid audit and completes Plan of Corrective Action (POC) as needed to successful completion.
    • Oversees the day to day operation of the cluster, to ensure facility runs smoothly.
    • Ensures appropriate staff ratios, and excellent service delivery to clients.
    • Ensures a homelike environment for clients.
    • Ensures departments work together within the cluster to provide continuous Active Treatment per the ICF/ID regulations.
    • Develops an annual budget and reviews monthly and as needed. Takes corrective action to maintain spending within budget.
    • Supervises consultants and oversees consultant contracts.
    • Oversees vendors and service delivery.
    • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains direct reports. Establishes clear performance expectations with direct reports, evaluates the work of direct reports to ensure that work performance is of appropriate quality.
    • Addresses less than satisfactory work performance and/or violation of Policies and Procedures of all cluster employees with corrective action.
    • Conducts Management Meetings regularly and provides training as needed.
    • Assists all departments in employee recognition and staff retention.
    • Oversees risk management activities to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
    • Participates in on-call duties to ensure 24-hour administrative coverage of the facility and other facilities as needed.
    • Monitors staff and client activities for potential abuse, neglect, and exploitation of clients. In the event abuse, neglect or exploitation occurs, determines the appropriate actions to be taken and appropriate notifications to be made.
    • Ensures appropriate follow-up corrective action is action is taken and documented in the event of abuse, neglect and exploitation.
    • Updates Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and submits to County Office of Emergency Management for approval annually.
    • Oversees Life-Safety activities and ensures documentation is completed and
    • Is maintained in the Director's office in preparation for annual AHCA review.
    • Ensures compliance with Quest's policies and procedures.
    • Updates Policies and Procedures as needed.
    • Attends and participates in all required meetings and training.
    • Ensures all areas of the facility are clean, including Director's office.
    • Ensures facility is neat and clean, furniture is in good repair, and all equipment is in working order.
    • Ensures vans and buses are in good repair and are clean.
    • Ensures outside areas are clean and free of debris. Oversees the ground maintenance to ensure grass is cut, trees and shrubs are trimmed.
    • Submits work orders as needed and follows to completion.
    • Reports to work during inclement weather (hurricanes) to ensure emergency procedures are in place and are followed. Oversee evacuation process if needed. Ensures client ratios are met.
    • Complete other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Eligible to legally work in the United States
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Successfully complete a background check and drug screen
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English
    • Ability to thrive in a team environment
    • Valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record
    • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
    • Must have at least one year experience as a QIDP
