    Responsibilities

    At Quest, the Staffing Coordinator position at Williams Road Cluster is responsible for, with minimal supervision, the day to day staffing of the facility within state and federal regulations.

    • Recruits, interviews, and hires direct reports. Includes full-time, part-time, and part-time on-call employees. Establishes clear performance expectations with direct reports. 
    • Ensures new hires receive new hire (on-boarding) training and completes performance evaluations during Introductory Period, and annually thereafter.
    • Retrains direct reports as needed.
    • Develops, monitors, and maintains the master staffing schedule for direct reports. Updates weekly and/or daily to meet staffing needs. Manages schedule to provide staff time-off in order to meet correct ratios while avoiding overtime.
    • Participates in the staff grievance process to a satisfactory resolution.
    • Utilizes resources wisely.
    • Tracks and maintains records of absentee reports, time-off requests, or other areas affecting the status of the schedule. Completes overtime report for each pay period to reflect use of overtime and corrective plan of action as needed.
    • Regularly monitors time-clock punches of direct reports and corrects as needed. Completes payroll for direct reports, to include having direct reports review and sign timesheets. Checks off payroll prior to appointed deadline.
    • Completes payroll corrections as needed.
    • Participates in 24-hour on-call to address scheduling needs.
    • Works with Direct Support Professionals each shift (1st, 2nd & 3rd) at least once monthly when needed or schedules to work these shifts.
    • Participates in the Cluster Management/Leadership Team, and other meetings and training.
    • Attends and participates in meetings and training.
    • Works in partnership with QIDPs to ensure clients receive continuous Active Treatment, to include monitoring of staff.
    • Works in partnership with DON and nursing staff to ensure excellence in the delivery of health care services.
    • Participates in Orientation training. Trains others as required.
    • Chairs All-Staff meetings as needed.
    • Conducts Lead meetings regularly.
    • Oversee the completion of monthly safety drills, documentation, and submits by required deadlines.
    • Checks each house daily, reviews and signs the Daily Communication LogsĀ. Addresses staffing issues if indicated. Submits work orders if needed and follows to completion.
    • Oversees risk management activities to ensure a safe environment to decrease staff injuries, client injuries, and decrease first aid and worker's compensation claims. Ensures work injury documentation is completed correctly. Provides modified duty work when needed.
    • Keeps office clean, neat and organized.
    • Reports to work during inclement weather (hurricanes) to ensure staff-client ratios are met.
    • Ensure compliance with Quest's policies and procedures.
    • Completes all other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Eligible to legally work in the United States
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Successfully complete a background check and drug screen
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English
    • Ability to thrive in a team environment
    • Valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record
    • Ability to provide proof of educational achievement or required certifications such as a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, college degree, advanced degree, or medical credentials
    • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
    • Minimum 1 year Experience with scheduling in a 24/7 environment
    • Minimum 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with
    • Developmental Disabilities preferred
