    Responsibilities

    At Quest, the Employment Services Director is responsible for overseeing the activities and supervision of the Employment Services Department. Expand department's revenue opportunities and community contacts. Ensure compliance with all internal and external standards and policies.

     

    Supervision and Recruitment

    • Provide timely and appropriate verbal and written feedback on performance or ensure that appropriate feedback has been given to the entire Employment Services team.
    • Establish and track achievable monthly goals that align to the department's annual goals.
    • Provide an atmosphere that fosters teamwork, good morale and cooperation.
    • Work with HR to recruit, as needed, any open staff positions.
    • Ensure all required Quest and Vocational Rehabilitation's paperwork, background checks and training are completed timely.
    • Manage/cover any open positions when necessary to insure quality care and service delivery.

    Operations

    • Develop and/or revise strategic plans that provide growth and sustainability to Employment Services and align to Quest's larger strategic plan. 
    • Develop and manage a yearly budget.
    • Develop and/or revise onboarding and in-service training for the department.
    • Set, supervise and maintain office procedures included, but not limited to:
      • Office hours
      • All compliance requirements as they relate to Quest's policies and procedures, funding and licensing agents, as well as any local, state and federal regulations
      • Staff meetings
      • Staff responsibilities
      • Incident and emergency procedure plans
    • Maintain and expand contacts with agencies, vendor, partners and programs that are aligned with Quest's overall mission. 
    • Expand capabilities and programs within the department, such as but not limited to, the expansion of Project SEARCH into other geographic locations within Quest's service territory.
    • Serve as a liaison for Quest to all funding sources to facilitate and expand appropriate services and supports as outlined in IPPs or other referral sources that grow the department's revenue.
    • Act as a liaison with client's families, group homes, guardians and Waiver Support Coordinators when appropriate.
    • Satisfy stakeholder by providing exceptional service.
    • Adhere to all company policies.
    • Other duties as assigned or required.

    Qualifications

    • Eligible to legally work in the United States
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Successfully complete a background check and drug screen
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English
    • Ability to thrive in a team environment
    • Valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record
    • Must have reliable transportation and a minimum of 50,000/100,000 automobile insurance
    • College degree (Masters preferred) with at least 5-7 years' experience in a business, business development or social services setting 
    • 2 years' successful experience and employment in counseling, job placement, job coaching or public vocational rehabilitation program, preferred
    • Discovery and/or CVE/PVE certification, preferred but not required
