    At Quest, Inc., the Residential Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Program Director in day to day operations of assigned residential facilities; ensuring an enhanced quality of life for all individuals living in the program.

    • Implement and document training activities as specified in the support plan to include, but not limited to: areas of behavior, self-help, daily living, social and leisure skills, community inclusion, physical and nutritional management.
    • Provide positive social and leisure interaction daily.
    • Implement behavior reduction & management programs as directed and document same.
    • Assist the Program Director with maintaining the staffing schedule to meet requirements for compliance hours, quality programming, adequate coverage and overall needs of the home(s).  
    • Administer prescribed medications, monitor self-administrations of medications, follow protocol for disposal of medications and document same.
    • Follow established protocol for residents' personal care and medical needs.
    • Provide basic first aid as needed.
    • Routinely monitor health/medical issues and report to the nursing staff and supervisor.
    • Attend and participate in training and staff meetings as requested.
    • Maintain a home atmosphere and positive environment while encouraging personal choices.
    • Assist in planning, preparing and purchasing well-balanced meals and ensure adequate food and supplies in the home.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment within program(s) assigned.
    • Assist individuals in planning and participation in community outings and enhancing independence.
    • Ensure all emergency procedures are followed during a drill or in an actual emergency.
    • Assess internal and external safety and maintenance issues and correct or report them.
    • Operate/inspect a company vehicle/van to transport individuals as requested.
    • Report all incidents of abuse/neglect in accordance with the Disabled Abuse Act, to the abuse registry.
    • Ensure all required reports are completed on time.
    • Manage household funds and consumer funds by accurately recording and tracking expenditures.
    • Ensure consumer's health needs are met, including but not limited to doctor and dental visits and assisting with emergency situations when needed.
    • Assist in the extended orientation of new staff and residents in the home.
    • Act as a liaison with community service providers, families and funding sources to advocate for the individual as requested.
    • Maintain a professional and personal demeanor with internal and external customers and members of the general public which promotes positive good will toward Quest and persons served.
    • Responsible for other duties and special projects as requested by Director.
    • Follow all policies and procedures and other duties as required.


    • Eligible to legally work in the United States
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Successfully complete a background check and drug screen
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English
    • Ability to thrive in a team environment
    • Valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record (no suspensions)
    • Ability to provide proof of educational achievement or required certifications such as a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, college degree, advanced degree, or medical credentials
    • Minimum 1 year experience with Quest or 2 years' experience with a similar provider. (Relevant Education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis)
